Brief Introduction of the Institute
This Institute is founded by venerable Khetsun Sangpo Rinpoche in 1974, under the advice and spiritual guidance of His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche. This is first Dudjom Tersar institute out side of Tibet and It’s main Lineage are Dudjom Tersar (new Treasure Cycle) and Longchen Nyingthig. Dudjom Tersar and it’s Dzogchen Lineage is extremely sort, direct, and profound, which is descends from guru Rinpoche and Yeshi Tsogyal direct to the Great Terton Dudjom Lingpa. Dudjom Tersar lineage developed during the lives of successive masters in Tibet, Bhutan, India and Nepal. These masters displayed remarkable sign, within the Dudjom Lingpa’s disciple there were 13 Master who attained enlightened in rainbow Body and many left different kinds of relics even these days. This Institute also took a great role to promote and preserve the Unique Dudjom Tersar Tradition (timely treasure) and also Nyingma tradition in large. Many qualified students from this Institute have established monasteries and Centers in India, Nepal and abroad, While some are Khenpos and Teachers in different centers. Today, more then 30 monks and several yogis are involved in studying higher Buddhist philosophy and Practice, beside Grammar, poem, ritual performance and English also taught as the modern requirement.
